Books (Japanese: 宝典) in 
Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2
are items that can be used to permanently increase a stat of the character who used it.
They are all given in Hot-Spring Komorebi
for completing 50% of the Monster Tome, and for completing 50% of the Item Almanac. They can also be found in treasures rooms at the bottom of some dungeons if you have a Key to open the door.
