The Demon Castle Prison (Japanese: 魔城内の牢屋) is the tutorial dungeon in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer GB2 - Magic Castle of the Desert. It's designed to teach players about the most basic gameplay elements before sending them to regular dungeons.

Dungeon Strategy

This dungeon is an un-skippable tutorial designed to teach players about fleeing from monsters when they're outnumbered and walking diagonally. Shiren walks diagonally by pressing Start and selecting the direction to walk or by pressing the 2 directions of the D-pad in the desired direction. Enemies have a lot of HP and don't offer any Experience so fighting them is a complete waste of time. Head to the exit and avoid the Traps that appear closer to the exit gets closer.
