The Steel Dust (Japanese: はがねのパウダー, Steel Powder) is a Specialized Item in 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness.
When in the Toolbox, it will raise the Defense and Sp. Defense of all compatible Pokémon by 7.

The Steel Dust can be obtained as a reward for completing a Job with a reward of ??? and a difficulty of at least 5 stars. This happens if the game chooses a 1 star Specialized Item for the reward, but the species of the client or outlaw Pokémon does not have one.
