The Gamepeida Shiren the Wanderer Wiki was a fork of the Wikifoundry Shiren the Wanderer Wiki founded on September 21, 2018 by rhaining, and Shiren1111 when they grew tired constant ongoing issues with the original wiki. Jubilee joined in November 2018, and was quickly made an admin. Shiren1111, or Nerthing ceased activity on December 31, 2018, and raining was sporadically active throughout 2019.

Jubilee and Yggy became the predominant editors on the wiki, with Yggy being responsible for the bulk of the Shiren 1 DS content, and Jubilee working on various games, predominantly Magic Castle DS and Shiren 3 Wii. Due to a disagreement between Jubilee and rhaining about how traps should be handled on the Shiren 5 pages, as items or gameplay elements, rhaining ceased editing the wiki in August of 2019.

On September 11, 2019, 2 years after rhaining's proposal to leave Wikifoundry, the Shiren the Wanderer Wiki became the Mystery Dungeon Wiki.

• Rhaining begins to grow tired of the WikiFoundry website and begins to look for alternative hosting websites.

September 17

• Rhaining gets the go-ahead from Gamepedia to have the Shiren Wiki ported to Gamepedia.com.

September 21

• 21:51
  • The Shiren Wiki is officially on Gamepedia.com.
  • Rhaining is made Wiki admin and begins porting of the old wiki with Shiren1111.

December 10

• Jubilee joins the wiki cleanup as a wiki admin and porting project.

2019

April 12

• The WikiFoundry Shiren the Wanderer Wiki is finally finished being ported to the new home on Gamepedia.com.

July 21

• Yggy joins as a wiki editor.

September 11
