The Pokémon takes damage every few turns from its burn. A burn can be healed by going into water, using certain Moves or Items, or by going to the next floor.

Burn (Japanese: やけど) is a Status Condition in 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.
Effect
A burned Pokémon loses 5 HP at the end of their Turn and every 20 turns after that. Any damage it does is decreased by 20%.
Benefits
The only benefits to burns are when they are inflicted on enemy Pokémon that will suffer constant HP damage as each turn passes.
Dangers
- Escort Pokémon can easily be defeated if they are burned.
- The constant drain on health can be a detriment, which may make it easier for enemies to defeat the player character's Pokémon or allies.

- Abilities: Flame Body
- Items:
- Moves: Blaze Kick, Fire Blast, Fire Punch, Flame Wheel, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Sacred Fire, Tri Attack, Will-O-Wisp
Non-Fire-type Pokémon walking over Magma will be burned.
Removal
- Walking over Water will cure burns.
- Rawst Berry will cure burns.
