Character Limits
The Hero's name is entered when they first wake up near the Tiny Woods. The max number of characters in the Hero's name varies by language. Pokémon can't be renamed.

The Highest Damage known to have been dealt using min-max techniques is 33,890.

- Only 3 Pokémon are permitted to enter a Dungeon, only one Pokémon is permitted to enter Luminous Cave.
Recruitment Rate
The base Recruitment Rate (Levels 1 - 29) is 0. At level 100, the max bonus is +24, with Friend Bows raising it to +34. Kecleon has a -33.9% recruitment rate, making it the lowest, while Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Jirachi have a recruitment rate of 99.9%, making them the highest.

- Raising HP from its species-specific max to 999 requires the use of Sitrus Berries.
- Raising stats from their species-specific max to 255 requires the use of Protein (Attack), Iron (Defense), Calcium (Special Attack), and Zinc (Special Defense).
- Attack, Defense, Special Attack, and Special Defense can temporarily be increased beyond their regular limit with held items. When this happens, the number turns red. For example, holding a Power Band increases Attack from 255 to 267.
