The Field Knave (Japanese: 畠荒らし) Monster Family in /
Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate (2020) consists of:
The Night counterpart family is the Dark Field Knave Family.
Field Knaves wander around the map and turn items into Weeds. They will move towards items (Behavior when player is in the room / right next to them?) If you see a Field Knave, use the look around feature to see if there is any item worth protecting from them. If you can't get to the item before them, try to move in a way so you can disable them at a distance.
If you are running short on food, you can throw rocks next to a Field Knave so it will turn them into Weeds. Each Weeds item provides 5 nutrition.
Pot Knave can throw Weeds into pots. (range? ways to mitigate?) Item Knave and Knave King can throw Weeds into your inventory and knock another item (can this happen to equipped items?) out of your inventory, which will (sometimes? always?) shatter a pot or destroy it by hitting a monster behind you, similar to what a Swordsman can do to a piece of equipment.
