The Karakuroid (Japanese: カラクロイド) Monster Family in /
Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate (2020) consists of:
The Night counterpart family is the Dark Karakuroid Family.
Karakuroids move at double speed, but can only attack once each turn. Instead of attacking, (or maybe if they can see you?) sometimes a Karakuroid will create a visible trap underneath it. After creating a trap, they will not act for the next 2 turns.
Karakuroids can create many useful traps, including Strip Traps for equipment identification, Arrow Traps for arrows farming, and Point Switches for point collection. You can lead them around the room to generate a large number of traps, up to a maximum number (60?) per floor. Slowing them makes this process easier.
