Macabre Inselberg (Japanese: 畏怖の山) is the seventh dungeon in 
Etrian Mystery Dungeon 2
. It is unlocked after finishing the sixth dungeon, Phantasmal Ivory. After completing this dungeon for the first time, Traore will give the player a Guard Scroll, a White Potion and 5,000en.
Dungeon information
This dungeon has 29 floors, the last floor being that of the boss and the geomagnetic pole allowing to return to Oberfay. The power of the monsters increases from floor 14. The player can build forts up to floor 27 and it is possible to build 4 forts in this dungeon.
There are no walls in this dungeon. As a result, thrown objects can disappear into the empty space between roomsn walls cannot be destroyed to create shortcuts and this dungeon only flying monster, the Red Pooka, is able to flee to unreachable tiles.

- Logging Spots: Trileaf Stalk, Ice Stake, Wisteria Branch, Yggdrasil Trunk, Thujopsis Root, Holly Lumber, Cave Palm Bark, Tough Vine, Pagoda Branch, Pachypodium.
- Harvesting Spots: Luminous Moss, Scarlet Sage, Glove Grass, Crabapple, Osmunda Frond, Aloe, Ambrosia, Shea Fruit, Fennel, Deathly Bud, Life Honey, Narcissus.
