The Sourced Name Symbol is an MDFW icon which indicates an official translation that doesn't appear in the lore of the specified series and is instead sourced from external albeit still official locations such as art books or merchandise.
Media that appears in-universe, such as Anime Shorts, Manga, Novellas, or Video Games that have received official localizations need not apply. However, names that appear outside of the universes of the respective series require this template to make note of this for posterity's sake. For example, the names Kecleon (Little Brother) and Kecleon (Big Brother) are sourced from official merchandise as they're only referred to as "Kecleon" in the in-universe media.
