Meta:Tao's Mystery Dungeon Guide

Tao's Mystery Dungeon Guide (Japanese: タオの不思議のダンジョンガイド) was a feature of the official website for Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate.^[1] It was first made available on October 13, 2010.^[2]^[3] On April 6, 2011, it was announced that it would be discontinued along with the Daily Dungeon at 15:00 on Thursday, April 28, 2011.^[4]^[5]

The guide operated using Gitan. Visitors received 10,000 Gitan per day upon visiting the site, which they could spend to request a guide session from Tao. The fee changed depending on Tao’s mood, so the number of sessions available each day varied. Players who used the guide frequently were rewarded with special gifts for regular visitors.^[2]^[3]^[6] Gitan would refresh every day at midnight.^[7] One of the rewards was a Tanuki Password.^[8]
