Aunt Kangaskhan (Japanese: ガルーラおばちゃん, Aunt Garura), also known as just Kangaskhan (Japanese: ガルーラ, Garura), is a side character in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon series. She is part of a big Kangaskhan family all over the Pokémon World, which makes her individual appearances harder to determine. She made her debut in / Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team in 2005.

Description

Kangaskhan used to run a storage business that allowed Pokémon to deposit and withdraw items, either at her shop or from a Kangaskhan Rock. However, as Deposit Boxes made her job redundant, she started a chain of Pokémon cafés all over the Pokémon World, which had always been her dream, as revealed in The Jellicent Show.

Personality

Kangaskhan, like the other members of her family, is a caring and polite Pokémon. She cares for the protagonist and partner characters of the series, and she comments on their journeys.

Because Kangaskhan's family includes many indistinguishable Kangaskhan, it is hard to know for sure if two Kangaskhan are ever the same.

Games

Kangaskhan makes her debut in Rescue Team, where she runs the storage system in Pokémon Square. In the Explorers titles, Kangaskhan is first seen in Chapter 3 of the main story. She can be found on the western side of Treasure Town. In Explorers of Sky, Kangaskhan also offers her services in the Special Episodes Bidoof's Wish and Today's "Oh My Gosh". Kangaskhan appears in Adventure Squad. In  Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon, Kangaskhan runs a chain of cafés all over the Pokémon world. She can join the player's team. In the Connection Orb, she is connected to Kecleon, Klefki and Swanna.
