Shiren 5 DS:Turn
Turns (Japanese: 振り向く) are a Dungeon gameplay element Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer 5 - The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate. During dungeon gameplay, everything is turn-based. Shiren always gets the first move, after which the Monsters, Adventure Allies, Shopkeepers, and Characters will make their moves. Each monster in the dungeon gets to move a turn for every one of Shiren's turns, even if he's in a Monster House.
Some monsters have increased Movement Speed, allowing them to move or act multiple times in a single turn. Using some Items or Traps, Shi-Rangers can level the playing field by either increasing Shiren's speed, and or lowering that of the enemies he's in combat with.
Each dungeon has a set number of turns allotted for each Floor, after which, The Winds of Kron will begin to blow. Being blown out of a dungeon by the Winds of Kron will result in that dungeon Adventure being treated as Defeat.
