A Banana (Japanese: バナナ) is a valuable Food Item which appears only in 
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team.
When eaten, it has the same effect as an Apple.
They can be found as Buried Items in the walls of the following dungeons: Frosty Grotto ({RescueTeam|Floor}}s 1 - 4), Magma Cavern Pit (floor 1), Mt. Blaze Peak (floors 1 - 2), and Mt. Freeze Peak (floors 1 - 4). The easiest way to obtain them would be to use a One-Room Orb, and then a Trawl Orb to bring every item to you.
Alternative methods include using: Rock Smash, a Ghost-type Pokémon, or the Super Mobile IQ skill in order to unearth buried items.
Tips For Use
Aside from their collectability as a rare item, their only other practical use would be for selling to make large amounts of Poké.

- Using Dungeon RNG Manipulation on Floor 2 of Frosty Grotto will guarantee a Banana to spawn on floor 3.
