Development Oversights and Limitations

  • Most of the text that appears during the game intro is broken or unreadable.
  • This translation incorrectly refers to the monster Archdemon as "Winged Demon", which is the old official name of another monster that isn't present in the game.
  • At the beginning of the game, there is a mistranslation. Nene(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. says they let Popolo(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. choose the name of the village, when it should instead say that they haven't told Popolo the name of the village yet.[2]
  • In the ninth stage, Grandpa Fawn's(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. name is mispelled as "Granddpa Fawn".
  • The description of the Stopspell Scroll(UT) - This is an unofficial translation. is mistranslated. It says it removes exits from the current floor, instead of saying it removes Torneko's mouth (can't eat/read).
