Development Oversights and Limitations
- Most of the text that appears during the game intro is broken or unreadable.
- This translation incorrectly refers to the monster Archdemon as "Winged Demon", which is the old official name of another monster that isn't present in the game.
- At the beginning of the game, there is a mistranslation. Nene
says they let Popolo
choose the name of the village, when it should instead say that they haven't told Popolo the name of the village yet.[2]
- In the ninth stage, Grandpa Fawn's
name is mispelled as "Granddpa Fawn".
- The description of the Stopspell Scroll
is mistranslated. It says it removes exits from the current floor, instead of saying it removes Torneko's mouth (can't eat/read).
