Related to the Mystery Dungeon series

The Danganronpa series makes numerous references to Mystery Dungeon by featuring monsters and core gameplay element.

Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

In Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, a replica of the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series and Dragon Quest series is present as an unlockable bonus game, titled Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test.[1]

Monsters from the Shiren series appear as Monokumafied monsters; a mix of their original design and Monokuma, the franchise's main antagonist, in this game. Items from the series also appear in the game.

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp

Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is the enhanced version of the boardgame Ultimate Talent Development Plan, another bonus game from Danganronpa V3.[2]

Everything featured in Despair Dungeon: Monokuma's Test returns in this game, along with even more items and Monokumafied monsters.

Others

Kaoru Hasegawa had made a drawing of Monokuma and Koppa in a boxing match in 2015.[3]
