Moonlight Village PC will receive an update to version 2.20 on December 10, 2002. This will bring the downloadable version and the non-internet physical release up to date with the internet version's package release. Chunsoft has stated that they wish to add more dungeons, but it's currently difficult, and they're going to instead focus on fixing bugs and re-balancing dungeons.[71]
A Demo for Asuka the Swordswoman PC has been released. It allows players to walk around the starting village and talk to Characters. Its primary function is to test whether or not the game will run on players' PCs.[72][61]
