Silent (Japanese: くちなし) is a Status Abnormality in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS2 - Magic Castle of the Desert.
Effect on Shiren
Shiren will be unable to eat Riceballs, Herbs and Monster Meat, read Scrolls or speak to Characters while he is on the same floor.
The Sealed status produces a similar effect for 35 turns.
How to get affected
There are only two ways to get this status condition:
- Read a Scroll of Silence.
- Get hit by a magic bolt from Elephant Mage
.
How to cure
Because the Silent status prevents Shiren from eating, it isn't possible to cure it. The only way to get rid of it is to advance to the next floor.
