Hypnotized (Japanese: 催眠) is a Status Abnormality in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer DS2 - Magic Castle of the Desert.
Effect on Shiren
Shiren will perform a random action, this includes:
- Attacking in a random direction
- Throwing an Item from Shiren's inventory.
- Equipping or removing random Weapons, Shields or Armbands in Shiren's main inventory
- Inserting a random item in a random Jars; if the selected jar has no space, nothing will happen
- Eating a random Riceball, Herbs or Monster Meat in Shiren's main inventory
- Swinging a random Staves in Shiren's main inventory
- Pressing a random jar in Shiren's inventory
- Reading a random Scroll in Shiren's main inventory
After performing any of these actions, Monsters will get their turn.
How to get affected
There is only one way to get this status condition:
- Get hypnotized by a Gaze Family monster.
How to cure
Because it lasts only one turn and makes Shiren lose control of his actions, it's impossible to cure this status condition. An Echo Shield will reflect hypnosis from Gazes.
