Illusory Grotto (Japanese: 幻影の洞窟) is a dungeon in  Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX. It is only available occasionally and for a limited time. The purpose of this dungeon is to help struggling players. The number of floors varies.

The first time Illusory Grotto appears is when the player is defeated for the first time in a regular, non-level-reset dungeon. There is a chance for it to appear again. It can appear as early as the first Thunderwave Cave clear during the story.

For Illusory Grotto to appear, the player must faint in a dungeon (getting blown out of the dungeon by the wind does not count, selecting the "Give Up" option also does not count) while Kangaskhan Storage holds 10 or fewer of the total count of the following items:

• Reviver Seeds
• Tiny Reviver Seeds
• Revive All Orb
