The Hide X (Japanese: 皮甲の盾改) is a Shield in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. Hide X debuted in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer in 2006. It's an improved Iron Shield.

An enhanced version of a Hide Shield. Has greater upgrade potential than a standard Hide Shield. Made from leather, so it won't rust, and you won't get as hungry. The rust protection will be lost if you combine this with another shield.
