The Hide Shield (Japanese: 皮甲の盾) is a Shield in the Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer series. Hide Shields debuted in 
Mystery Dungeon 2: Shiren the Wanderer in 1995. It's similar in function to the Ration Shield that debuted in Magic Castle GBC.
Leather means it won't rust and it also makes you less hungry. Combining this with other shields won't give them rust resistance.[1]
