The Golden X (Japanese: 金の盾改) is a shield introduced in the Nintendo DS port of Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer. It bears the (Gld) (Gold) Rune which protects your shield being rusted by traps or monster traps. It is a rescue reward exclusive item and has an increased upgrading potential over the normal Gold Shield.
