The Staff of Postpone (Japanese: 一時しのぎの杖) is a Staff in  Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.

When swung, it will fire a bolt that will warp its target to the stairs or entrance of the current floor and Paralyze them indefinitely.

Tips For Use

• Temporarily displace Monsters by moving them to the stairs, to escape a dangerous crowd situation.
• With an Armband of Sight equipped, a Scroll of Light or Dark Owl Family Monster Meat, paralyze an entity and watch the map closely for its blimp to move. This way, the stairs can easily be located.
• Swing the staff at an Air Devil Family Monster to reflect the effect back at Shiren, teleporting him to the stairs.
• When postponing enemies, target weaker monsters first so they occupy the stairs. Stronger monsters that a postponed after will be placed around the weaker monster, and will not need to be interacted with to exit.
