The Antidrain Armband (Japanese: ドレインよけの腕輪) is an Armband in 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
Wearing an Antidrain Armband will protect Shiren's maximum status values from being decreased, particularly the ability of Drain-type monsters, though this armband also protects from other various effects:
Maximum Fullness decreases from:
- The ability of Polygon Jigs and Polygon Songs.
- Eating Little Belly Seeds or Seed of Ill Luck
Level decease effects, from:
- Eating a Seed of Misfortune
- Eating a Bitter Herb
- Eating a Seed of Ill Luck
- The ability of Twisty Hani Family Monsters
- The -1 level decrease effect from eating Rotten Riceballs
- Magic from Skull Wraiths and Skull Demons.
- Staff of Misfortune bolts that are reflected back at Shiren by Air Devil Family monsters
Maximum Strength decrase effects, from:
- The ability of Leech Worm Family Monsters
The effect of this armband also persists in towns, but not while Shiren is a monster, or inflicted with the 'Riceball' status.
The effect of an Antidrain Armband is included in several "rescue reward" armbands: the Barrier Armband, the Clear Armband, and the Vigilant Armband.
Tips For Use
In dungeons with high level monsters, maintaining maximum status values is a priority.
- Equip this armband when fighting Drain-type monsters, particularly in Drain Houses.
- While equipping an Antidrain Armband, eating unknown Herbs, particularly in The Final Puzzle can be made considerably safer.
