The Antidote Armband (Japanese: 毒よけの腕輪) is an Armband introduced to the DS port of 
Mystery Dungeon: Shiren the Wanderer.
Equipping an Antidote Armband that is not Cursed will protect Shiren's current strength from decreasing from being Poisoned.
Current strength will no longer be decrease from the following:
- Tiggering Poison Dart Traps.
- Poison Herbs overall, which are also thrown by Ghost Radish Family Monsters.
- The loss of 3 current Strength from eating a Rotten Riceball.
This armband effectively provides the 'Poison-free' status, obtained at chance from eating a Special Riceball, which lasts until Shiren leaves the current floor. Unlike this status, the Antidote Armband has a persistent effect as long as it is equipped.
The effect of an Antidote Armband is included in several "rescue reward" armbands: the Barrier Armband, Pure Armband, and the Warding Armband.
Limitations
This armband will not protect maximum Strength from being drained, by the ability of Leech Worm Family Monsters.
The effect of an equipped Antidote Armband will not apply while Shiren is a monster, or inflicted with the 'Riceball' status.
Tips For Use
- Equip an Antidote Armband when fighting Ghost Radish Family Monsters. Though Shiren will vulnerable to the first type of Herbs they throw, current Strength will not be lost to the following Poison Herbs.
- An Antidote Armband can be helpful in dungeons with an abundance of Poison Dart Traps such as the Ravine of the Dead, though, because its effect is so niche, there is more use to bring other armbands that can help avoid all Traps at once, such as a Trap Armband.
- As long as an Antidote Armband is equipped, Poison Herbs will not effect current strength and can be safely eaten to replenish current Fullness.
